Problem:
In the aging societies of the West, the medical industry is facing more and more challenges. More and more patients and limited human resources of employees lead to the inefficiency of the health system.
Solution:
The answer for this problem is Hilary - a generative small language model (SLM) for the medical sector, dedicated to generating high-quality medical texts in many languages, with particular emphasis on Polish and English. The availability and openness of the model will enable companies and institutions related to healthcare to implement generative AI solutions on their own infrastructures, which will be independent of commercial suppliers. It is expected that this model can significantly contribute to increasing the efficiency of the medical sector, both in primary health care (time to issue documentation) and in emergency departments (quick comparison of cases) where the reaction time is crucial.
